The Alpha Moisture Systems Model GCTU has been specifically developed to collect all SF6 sampled for moisture and purity analysis.

The GCTU is designed to transfer and recycle the entire SF6 Gas sample back to the High Voltage Circuit Breaker, Switchgear, Transformer or Manufacturing Equipment giving a zero effect to the SF6 applications and protecting the environment by eliminating any discharge to the atmosphere.

The common usage of SF6 in high voltage switch gear has brought significant advantages in performance and reliability but, because SF6 is a “greenhouse gas”, special precautions should be adopted when routine sample analysis is undertaken.

The NEW GCTU can be utilised with any field analysis instruments and because it is battery operated and fully portable this provides a simple and effective method of achieving an environmentally friendly solution to SF6 analysis and recycling.
